The key to life is believing in Christ

Learning to Stop

Kundtz shares this morning, “It seems so hard for us to end things: to close a business, to stop volunteering, to close up shop, to shut down a church, to end a program, to discontinue a tradition, to quit a service. Our usual decision is not to end one thing and begin another, but to keep doing the one and add on the other. It gets us into big trouble.” There are things in all of our lives that we need to stop or let go of for us to receive or do more in our lives. Instead of us accepting the fact, we hold on, gripping the past, fearing the unknown.

However, we must remain confident in our faith. Job 8:7 reminds us, “Your future will be brighter by far than your past.” Let go and let God grow your opportunities, experiences, gifts, and talents in your life. Know your latter will be greater and your best is yet to come.

Small Straws Scripture: Matthew 7:7-8

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Jesus is the answer and the gift. Whatever we need is found in Him, we only have to try Him and believe in Him.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 10:31

When you eat or drink or do anything else, always do it to honor God.

No matter what the situation, may we always reverence and honor God.

The key to life is believing in Christ, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
