Take time to live life to the fullest, without worry
Stop and Smell the Flowers
This morning a correlation is made with golf and “smelling the flowers”. We are all familiar with the phrase “stop and smell the flowers”, which encourages us to take time and just be and pay attention to your surroundings. Golf is the perfect scenario used in today’s message of how only a small portion of time is actually spent on hitting the ball around the holes, whether nine or eighteen. The other time provides individuals to walk (or ride), talk, and enjoy the surrounding, “…and other expressions of the natural world grass, trees, sand (!), perhaps water”, as described in the text. Let us consider activities that provide us the opportunity to enjoy life and not take them for granted. Walter C. Hagen, a famous golfer is quoted saying, “Don't hurry, don't worry. You're only here for a short visit. So be sure to stop and smell the flowers.” Choose today and each day to enjoy moments, minutes, hours of life’s journey.
Matthew 6:34 reads, “‘So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today.’” Let us not work to try to always figure out what lies ahead, but let’s stay present in the now, enjoying God is providing us in each moment.

Divine action to disappoint
“Let me sing for my beloved my love-song concerning his vineyard: My beloved had a vineyard on a very fertile hill. He dug it and cleared it of stones, and planted it with choice vines; he built a watchtower in the midst of it, and hewed out a wine vat in it; he expected it to yield grapes, but it yielded wild grapes. And now, inhabitants of Jerusalem and people of Judah, judge between me and my vineyard. What more was there to do for my vineyard that I have not done in it? When I expected it to yield grapes, why did it yield wild grapes? And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will remove its hedge, and it shall be devoured; I will break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down.”
After doing a little research, it was discovered that this parable shows that God richly blessed Israel, but they failed to meet his expectations. Let us not forget what we have been blessed with by God. May we use our God-given talents, treasure, and time to do His will and what He guides and instructs us to do.
Youversion Verse of the Day: 2 Chronicles 15:7
But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.”
Let us remain attentive to what we are called to do and tasks we must accomplish. Although we may get tired or unable to see or understand the outcome, know that God is with us and will provide all we need to bring all things for us to fruition.
Take time to live life to the fullest, without worry, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
