May we never forget the presence and power of our Father
In the Next Seat
Kundtz starts his message this morning saying, “Poets seem to talk for God a lot. Well, I suppose someone has to do it.” He then goes on to say, “I wonder why it is so easy to forget the immanence of God? It is clearly proposed by the world's religions: God dwells within each of us. But we forget.” All of us in life get busy with work and the ways of the world. Even those who engage in worship services and activities sometimes forget that our Father is omnipresent. We get focused on our feelings, frustration, anger, and at times excitement, forgetting who is always with us and knows all things. As encouraged today, “Be still… Today, notice the loving gaze upon you from the next seat. That’s not the guy sitting next to you on the subway speaking; it's God.”
Jeremiah 23:23-24 reads, “Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.” He is the beginning, present, and will be the end. He is our ever present God in times of trouble and triumphs. He is always available to love and lift. He is truly everything and all and all for everyone.

A sacrifice for the atonement of people
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.”
May we all remember that Jesus took on life in the flesh so that He might suffer, bleed, and die for you and me. The ultimate sacrifice for each of us to be grateful that even through it all, He chose you and me.
Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
Our Father understands we are of flesh and our desires, but He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we cannot handle without giving us an “out”.
May we never forget the presence and power of our Father, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
