Still Time

Can time stand still? I’m not sure literally, but situations we are in can seem to be moments where we are or want to be frozen in time. Today’s message says, “These are the moments when time stands still. Sunlight, a rain shower…. When time stands still, you can be sure that something very important is leaping in…. To allow this pregnant calm, we must be still.” When is the last time you have been still—in the moment—taking life in? Many of us are busy with work, children, and other responsibilities during the week, and many times it overflows into the weekend. However, we should all take time to be; we should all take time for time to be still. Let’s work to take our time for reflection, and bask in the moments that make us smile and motivate us to keep on.

Exodus 14:14 says, “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to keep still.” God will help us through the struggles of everyday day life, so let Him. Let us take time to rest, reflect and reset to go about doing what is best and becoming of us.

FMBC Weekly Reading: Hebrews 3:7-15

Today is your opportunity to be made whole

“Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, as on the day of testing in the wilderness, where your ancestors put me to the test, though they had seen my works for forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation, and I said, ‘They always go astray in their hearts, and they have not known my ways.’ As in my anger I swore, ‘They will not enter my rest.’ ” Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end. As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

In all that we do in our day to day lives, let us not neglect our faith and what God has done and is doing in our lives. May we use every situation we have to share of His goodness and work to introduce Him to others.

Youversion Verse of the Day Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

May we use every opportunity we have to be an influence to other to see and experience what God can do and will do for anyone who chooses to follow Him.

Make it a goal to guide others to God, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
