In all that we do in this life, let us always remember the support we have in our friends, families, and Jesus Christ

Action or Rest?

Today the message focuses on whether action in life or resting is best. Kundtz toils saying, “There are times when indeed I do want peace and quiet, but I just can't have it right now…. And what about the times I call boring? How I yearn for action and something to do…”. Action and rest are inevitable in our lives, but as the message goes on to say, we can’t always control which season we are in, better yet what moment to moment brings in our lives. As highlighted by the writer, Ecclesiastes 3:1 shares “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven”. Action will consume us and peace will release us. May we do what is necessary to complete the work God has us to do for ourselves, our families, and others. Likewise, may we rest when necessary for mental and physical strength renewal and to just be.

FMBC Weekly Reading: Matthew 28:30

Come unto me all you who…

“‘Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.’”

It doesn’t matter what we are dealing with, no matter how small or massive, our God welcomes us to let go and surrender to Him whatever it may be, and He will carry it, as well as you and me.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Proverbs 17:17

A friend loves at all times, and kinsfolk are born to share adversity.

We are in need of community in this life, for both friends and families are important to our growth and development, our ups and downs as well as joy and sorrow. On both, we depend.

In all that we do in this life, let us always remember the support we have in our friends, families, and Jesus Christ, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
