We are not forgotten ones, but chosen ones in Christ

What’s Going on Here?

Kundtz says this morning, “Sometimes wewe are so focused on accomplishing one particular task that our own vision narrows and we overlook the obvious cause of pain and distress in those around us.” He then encourages us, “When conflict arises today take a moment to ask: What is this conversation (comment, request, et cetera) really about?” Let us not miss the obvious in life and situations. May we not be so focused and forget the little things.

Though there may be times when it feels like others do not care about the little things, God does. Matthew 10:30 reads, “And even the hairs of your head are all counted.” No matter the size of what is of concern to you, give it to God and He will see you through.

FMBC Weekly Reading: Jeremiah 2: 1-37

“Thus says the Lord: What wrong did your ancestors find in me that they went far from me, and went after worthless things, and became worthless themselves? who say to a tree, “You are my father,” and to a stone, “You gave me birth.” For they have turned their backs to me, and not their faces. But in the time of their trouble they say, “Come and save us!” But where are your gods that you made for yourself? Let them come, if they can save you, in your time of trouble; for you have as many gods as you have towns, O Judah.” Jeremiah‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬, ‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭

Let us not forget about the One who has always and will always be for us, by us, and goes before us. There is no one or nothing else that can do for us what He can do.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 Chronicles 29:11

Yours, O Lord, are the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.

There is nothing that we have or experience that is not a real of God’s will. Let us forever praise Him and thank Him.

We are not forgotten one, but chosen ones in Christ, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
