May we seek every opportunity to reverence Him who loves us, leads, us, keeps us, protects us, and blesses us

Dental Hygiene

The question was posed this morning, “What are you thinking about as you brush your teeth?” The author followed with, “Buddhists remind us, when you brush your teeth, just brush your teeth. Be mindful. Be aware of who you are and what you're doing just now.” We are encouraged today to be more open and present to moments we have for mindfulness. Let’s not just brush to get it done, but be mindful of the action. As highlighted in the dental proverb, “Be true to your teeth or your teeth will be false to you.” Take care of your teeth, and likewise take care of you and your mind.

2 Corinthians 5:18 says, “For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you.” Whatever we do should be for the glory of God, and every opportunity we have may we focus our mind on Him and Hus will for our lives.

FMBC Weekly Reading: Matthew 21:12-17

Jesus cleans the temple—people were put out

“Then Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who were selling and buying in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. He said to them, ‘It is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer”; but you are making it a den of robbers.’ The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he cured them. But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the amazing things that he did, and heard the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became angry and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, ‘Out of the mouths of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise for yourself’?” He left them, went out of the city to Bethany, and spent the night there.”

Let us work to keep the sanctity of the church at the forefront of all that is said and done within its walls, for our Father created it to be sacred and safe ground for prayer and supplication not selling souls to the world.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

May we always seek Jesus to find peace, and our hearts and minds be directed in the same manner to accept Him as our focus for He is our Father who leads, directs, and keeps us.

May we seek every opportunity to reverence Him who loves us, leads, us, keeps us, protects us, and blesses us, my friend.🙏🏽🦋💚🌈
