May we forever be in awe of God’s fervent love for us

Awesome

Goethe is quoted as saying, “Awe is the finest portion of mankind.... In awe one feels profoundly the immense.” Kundtz adds, “The feeling of awe is a sign that we have a certain degree of being awake, aware, and open to the combination of feelings that create it. When we are in its embrace, we tend to be still, silent, observant.” What puts you at awe or who puts you in awe? It’s different for most, but the characteristics of how one feels is similar. What’s breathtaking? What leaves you speechless? What causes disbelief? One thing for sure, our God is awesome. That’s actually a title to a gospel song. It’s goes on to say, “He can move mountains, keep me in the valley; hide me from the rain.” Our God is literally breathtaking and I’m grateful to know Him and be loved by Him in a way no one else can love me.

Small Straws Scripture: Psalm 42:11

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.

Let us never wallow in our worry, and let us not be torn down in terror, for our Father can always be trusted to keep us and bring us through anything. Greater always comes to our lives when we lean and depend on Him.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 Peter 4:8

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

In all that we are, in all that we do, and in all that we give, especially love, let it be deep, meaningful and foster compassion and commitment, unwavering like all that our Father does and provides for you and me.

May we forever be in awe of God’s fervent love for us, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
