If He’s done it before, He can do it again
Writing
I lie awake at 5:40 this morning, knowing God had a message for me, and when I read the title of today’s devotional it was confirmed: write. Kundtz says this morning, “By nature, writing slows you down… writing focuses your attention, stills your soul.” He goes further to say, “When I write, I must go more deeply in search and exploration of myself. Thus I learn, more than anything, about me…. Write stories. Write essays. As you let the world hear from you, you'll probably hear from the world in some way.” This reminded me of a quote I read which stated, “Your life may be the only Bible someone reads”. How we walk, what we do, and what we say can lead people to God or further astray. What steps will we choose this day knowing others may be looking our way?
Right now I am awake and choosing to obey what God is yet putting in my spirit to do. Habakkuk 2:2-3 reads, “Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so that a runner may read it. For there is still a vision for the appointed time; it speaks of the end, and does not lie. If it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay.” God tells Habakkuk to write down his vision so that it can be easily read, and wait patiently in faith, and God will fulfill His promises. They may feel delayed but will be perfect in His timing. I don’t know what your thoughts hold, or what you have been praying for, but like me in this moment, I encourage you to write it out. Whatever you desire and whatever is troubling you, don’t avoid it but face it head on, write it out, and let God guide and take care of you.

See what the Lord has done
“For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of Lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who is not partial and takes no bribe, who executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and who loves the strangers, providing them food and clothing. You shall also love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. You shall fear the Lord your God; him alone you shall worship; to him you shall hold fast, and by his name you shall swear.”
Let us always remember what God has done for us. He leads, guides and provides, but sometimes we get caught up in life, forgetting what He has done for us before. Let us never fail to reflect and share God’s goodness for us, but let us also remember His goodness towards us, for what He has done before, He will do it again.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
We change. He’s the same. We go astray. He’s omnipresent. We are limited in what we can do for ourselves and others. He is omnipotent. May we always remember He is a constant friend, our foundation on which we all can always rest and depend.
If He’s done it before, He can do it again, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
