God is actually the master of our fate and the captain of our souls

Every Day

Today’s message from David Krundtz is titled “Every Day”. He writes, “I'm convinced we all really do know what is happening to the way we are in the world, compared to the way we want to be… there's always just too much going on. The problem is not what we don't know; it's that we somehow feel powerless to change it. When you have begun dealing with the problem of too much going on, you can start to identify just what you want to include in your ‘every day.’” We have the choice to decide what our day entails. Included in today’s message is a quote by Goethe (he is to the German language what William Shakespeare is to English-speaking cultures); “One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words.”

What do you want each of your days to consist of? Today’s message made me think of the following scriptures. “Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things”, from Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬. Then I thought of Galatians 5:22-24, “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.” What will you choose this day and each day for your life?

Luke 7:47 NRSV

“‘I tell you, her sins, which were many, have been forgiven; hence she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.’”

Let us never be afraid or ashamed to give all praises and honor to our Father, for He is worthy to be praised even when we don’t feel worthy of His grace, mercy, and love.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

God is the actually the master of our fate and the captain of our souls, my friend.
