May we live by the Fruit of the Spirit and know grace and mercy shall follow us

For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 NLT

This life, “It’s Not About the Rules”. As the writer explains, “The rules are secondary to living the Christian life, which is about goodness, peace, and joy, available only through the Holy Spirit.” The text goes on to say, “We become ensnared in a legalistic way of life, bound to a man-made version of what not to do that leads us a long way from the abundant life God has planned for us.” May we be led by the Fruit of the Spirit as found in Galatians 5:22-23; love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Isaiah 31, Isaiah 32, & Isaiah 33)

“Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness abide in the fruitful field. The effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever. My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.” Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

Luke 1:46-47

Let us rejoice saying, Hosanna, for it’s the highest praise.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
