Let us take comfort in what God had equipped us to do, and even when criticized, continue to do the work unto Him
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV
When we are in Christ, we are “Surrounded by Comfort”. As the message suggests, “We are God's messengers on this earth. Because He cares for us so tenderly, He wants us to turn around and care for others. We are to offer comfort and compassion to people who are hurting.” As the saying goes, “Hurt people hurt people.” Let us be comforted by our Father, who we know can heal all pain, and in return, let us lead with compassion as we interact with others, helping them understand He will do the same for them.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together 1 Timothy 4, 1 Timothy 5, & 1 Timothy 6)
“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I arrive, give attention to the public reading of scripture, to exhorting, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy with the laying on of hands by the council of elders. Put these things into practice, devote yourself to them, so that all may see your progress. Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers.” 1 Timothy 4:12-16 NRSV
Matthew 5:4
Comfort and blessings come from the Lord even when we mourn.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Let us take comfort in what God had equipped us to do, and even when criticized, continue to do the work unto Him, my friend.
